Qualification of folk artworks
A qualified work of applied folk art is a registered item of the Museum of Applied Hungarian Folk Art in category "A" or "B".
Qualification may be applied for at the Applied Folk Arts Department of the Hungarian Heritage House. Applications should be addressed to the General Manager.
The qualification procedure is the responsibility of the Applied Folk Art Qualification Board.

- Buildings: ornaments, gates, fences, playgrounds, memorials, tombs, thatched roofs etc.
- Handmade and hand-painted wooden furniture
- Woodcarvings, bone-carving

- Rush, straw and corn-husk objects
- Fisher nets, ropes
- Decorated eggs
- Embroidery
- Barrels
- Blue dye cloths
- Hats
- Knives
- Metalwork
- Saddlery
- Handmade candles

The Applied Folk Arts Section of the Hungarian Heritage House issues trademarks to ensure that certain items are qualified.
